Emerald Ice-Cream Freakshake (Serves 4)
Milkshakes are a great way to have some fun with ice cream and you can let your imagination go wild.
A rule of thumb when making milkshakes is to blend equal quantities of milk and your favourite Emerald Ice-Cream flavours to give you a thick, luxurious shake and top them with lots of sweet treats and flavours.
They can be topped with cookies, Oreos, M&M’s, Marshmallows, Fresh Fruit, Chocolate Pretzels, dried berries……… The list is endless.
Ingredients:
- 500ml Full Fat Milk
- 500g Emerald Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
- 50ml double cream, whipped
- 40g Chocolate Pretzels
- 20g mini marshmallow
- 4 Oreo Cookies, broken
- 30 mls caramel topping
Method:
In a blender, combine the milk and ice-cream until smooth and creamy.
Pour the milkshake into a glass, a jug or a serving jar.
Pipe the whipped cream on over the top of the milkshake.
Add the toppings as messy as you like. The milkshake will soak in to the Oreos and marshmallows and the pretzels will add a lovely salty crunch.
Add a wide straw or a sundae spoon to serve and enjoy.
